Only through careful questioning and precise logic... would motive and murderer emerge. And, YOU get to help the Detective figure out "Whodunit."---

Gilded Age Garden Party
Saturday August 16 7-10 PM
During the Gilded Age of the Victorian and Edwardian Eras entertaining was a must. Join us at the Historic Sharpe House on the evening of August 16th between 7 and 10 as we relive the Garden Party experience. During the past year a lot of changes have occurred with improvements to create a better venue for the area for all types of events. The new picket fence, based on the original that stood in front of the house, and the flower beds along it will be celebrated as the outside of the estate is being used more.
Area caterers and restaurants will provide hors d' oeuvres from their best menus, the House will provide its signature Lemonade Punch, along with other wonderful items. Games and activities will fill the side and West lawns as entertainment fills the air with sounds of our favorite brass quintet Five til Five and also the vocals of Karla and Stewart Kincaid.
Fans of the PBS series Downton Abbey will enjoy and remember scenes from the series as we once again bring to life the traditions and style of that time in our history. Big Hats and period costumes will be seen and encouraged if you plan to visit. There is no admission and brides are encouraged to attend.
For more details contact Site Manager Keith "Mr. Karson" Rhyne at 704-682-7508.
